Meet Jack, our Engineering Apprentice!
Jack McGivern joined Blends as an Engineering Apprentice, stepping into a hands-on role at the heart of our manufacturing operation. Working alongside our experienced engineering team, Jack gets involved in the day-to-day support of our production equipment, from learning how the Krones canning line operates to assisting with machinery checks, maintenance and repairs across the site. It’s a role that gives him real exposure to the technical side of food and beverage manufacturing, while helping him understand how engineering keeps our canning, bottling and production processes running smoothly.
Whether he’s supporting repairs on the factory floor, helping keep downtime to a minimum or understanding how different departments rely on engineering, Jack is gaining valuable experience in a busy, fast-moving environment.

Meet Billy, an apprentice who became our Sales Executive!
When Billy joined Blends as an apprentice, he had the opportunity to learn from experienced people across the business while developing his own skills in a real working environment.
Through hands-on experience, support from the team and a willingness to get involved, Billy has been able to build his confidence, understand the industry and become a full-time Sales Executive. Now, he’s managing global & national clients, supporting our Account Managers.
His journey is a great example of what apprenticeships can offer: the chance to learn, grow and start building a future in a business that wants to see people succeed.
